God(Christ Ahnsahnghong) said that there is our God the Mother(Heavenly Mother) in heaven. Let’s find out about Heavenly Jerusalem Mother ( God the Mother )through the Bible in World Mission Soceity Church of God.

The character Abraham is used to represent God in the Bible.
Through the history of Abraham's family, God has revealed to us how we can inherit the kingdom of heaven. Isaac was the one who received Abraham's inheritance.
Even though Abraham had another son named Ishmael, born through Hagar, God did not allow Ishmael to receive the inheritance of Abraham. Rather, God bestowed the inheritance upon Isaac, who was born through Sarah.
The reason why Isaac was chosen as Abraham's heir was that Isaac was the son of Sarah, who was free.

This history shows us that the heavenly inheritance will be given to those who are born of the heavenly Mother, who is free.
Christ Ahnsahnghong taught us that our heavenly Mother does in fact exist and that She is truly the biggest mystery hidden within the Bible.

Let us study "The History of Abraham's Family and Mother," taught to us by Christ Ahnsahnghong.

Abraham Represents God First of all, we need to recognize who the character Abraham represents in the Bible.

Luke 16:19-31 『"...The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham...' "』

As you know, this parable is about a beggar, named Lazarus, and a rich man. The parable tells of Lazarus, who died and was carried to heaven, and a rich man, who was sent to hell to be tormented. Lazarus was obviously carried to God's side after he had died; however, the Bible states that Lazarus traveled to Abraham's side.

In the parable, the rich man, who went to hell, called up to God in the distance; however, the Bible states that the man saw Abraham, and called up to him, saying, "Father Abraham." Who is the only one who is worthy to be called "Father" in the spiritual world? God is the only one who can be called upon in this way. Then, whom does Abraham represent? Logically, the character Abraham was chosen to represent God.
Therefore, the inheritance of Abraham can be likened to the inheritance of God, the kingdom of heaven.

Isaac, the Heir of AbrahamThen, let us find out who was appointed as Abraham’s heir.
There were three candidates who could have been chosen as the heir of Abraham: Eliezer, Ishmael, and Isaac. Among them, who became Abraham’s heir?
It was Isaac who was appointed.

We need to understand the reason why Isaac was chosen to be Abraham’s heir. Gen. 15:1-4 『...But Abram said, "O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?" And Abram said, "You have given me no children; so a servant in my household will be my heir." Then the word of the LORD came to him: "This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir."』

When Abraham was an old man and had not yet borne a son, he asked God to allow his servant Eliezer to be his heir. However, God did not allow Eliezer to become Abraham’s heir, revealing that a son would be born from Abraham’s own body and that he would become his heir. Some time later, Hagar, Sarah’s maidservant, bore Abraham a son: Ishmael.

Gen. 16:1-15 『Now Sarai, Abram's wife, had borne him no children. But she had an Egyptian maidservant named Hagar; so she said to Abram, "The LORD has kept me from having children. Go, sleep with my maidservant; perhaps I can build a family through her." Abram agreed to what Sarai said...So Hagar bore Abram a son, and Abram gave the name Ishmael to the son she had borne.』

Ishmael was born to Abraham through a maidservant named Hagar, and Abraham asked God to allow Ishmael to become his heir.
Gen. 17:18-19 『And Abraham said to God, "If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!" Then God said, "Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.』

When Abraham said to God, "If only Ishmael might live under your blessing," God did not allow Ishmael to become his heir. Instead, God promised Abraham that he would have a son through his wife, Sarah. Isaac was born as God had promised, and of the three?Eliezer, Ishmael, and Isaac?
Isaac was chosen to be Abraham’s heir.

The Key Factor in Deciding an Heir Is "Mother"Let’s study the reason why God chose Isaac to be Abraham’s heir.
Both Eliezer’s father and his mother were slaves, neither of them was free.

This is the reason why God did not allow him to be Abraham’s heir.
Ishmael’s father, Abraham, was free, but his mother, Hagar, was a slave and not a free woman. This is why God could not allow Ishmael to become Abraham’s heir.
Isaac’s father, Abraham, was a free man, and his mother, Sarah, was a free woman.

The fact that Isaac had been born of a free woman was the big difference between Ishmael and Isaac, and this discrepancy became the key factor in choosing Abraham’s heir.
In those days, the eldest son inherited all of his family’s property.
Since Ishmael was older than Isaac, he should have become the heir? that is, if God had made His decision according to the paternal line.
Ishmael was not chosen to become Abraham’s heir, even though he was Abraham’s eldest son, because his mother was not a free woman, but a slave. Thus, it is clear that the decisive factor in choosing Abraham’s heir was his mother.

What we need to focus on while studying the history of Abraham’s family is not merely the story of a man and his family. As you know, the Bible is not a storybook to tell us of men and their families. Nevertheless, God repeatedly mentioned the story of this particular family. Actually, the history of Abraham was a shadow of what was to happen in the future. In order for us to know who could become God’s heir, the story of Abraham’s family was written, as a prophecy.
Therefore, through the history of Abraham’s family, we can clearly understand that the decisive factor in choosing an heir is the mother.
As Isaac became Abraham’s heir through Sarah, his free mother, we can become God’s heirs through our heavenly Mother, who is a free woman. Only those who believe in the heavenly Mother?only the children who are born through the new covenant?can inherit the heavenly Father’s kingdom.
Let us read one more verse testifying about the heavenly Mother.

Gal. 4:22-31 『...But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother...Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born in the ordinary way persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does the Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son." Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman.』

The Bible declares that we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman. Ishmael could not inherit his father’s estate because his mother, Hagar, was only a slave, not a free woman. On the other hand, Isaac was chosen to become Abraham’s heir because his mother, Sarah, was a free woman. The Bible also testifies that we, like Isaac, are the children of promise, the children of the heavenly Mother, who is free.

In today’s world, there are three types of people: those who are like Eliezer, those like Ishmael, and those who are like Isaac. The first type of people, who are like Eliezer, are atheists, who do not believe in Father God or in Mother God.

The second type of people, who are like Ishmael, are those who believe in Father God, but do not believe in Mother God. The third type of people, who are like Isaac, are those who believe in Mother God as well as Father God. According to the history of Abraham’s family, which one of these three types can become an heir of the kingdom of heaven? Only the third type of people, who are like Isaac, can be recognized as God’s heirs. There is no doubt about it.

Which group of people do you want to be classified with? If you want to be like Isaac, you must first become a child of the free woman. Thus, you must accept the heavenly Mother, who is free. The Bible testifies to this fact.
God said, "My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge" (Hos. 4:6).

What kind of knowledge is God referring to in this verse?
We must recognize that we have God the Mother, as well as God the Father. We must accept Elohim God. Also, we must firmly believe that God is our Mother, who gives us salvation alongside our Father. Only after we come to realize this can we say that we have the knowledge of God, and that we will not be those who are destroyed from a "lack of knowledge."

The Bible testifies that the Holy Spirit is God Ahnsahnghong, and that the Bride is Jerusalem Mother.
Let us accept God Ahnsahnghong, the Holy Spirit, and Jerusalem Mother, the Bride, who give us the water of life in these last days, so that we can enter the kingdom of heaven.

The saints of church of God believe in and preach about the heavenly mother.
 It is because bible testfies about heavenly mother.
 We should put our figure that only knew God the father aside and receive God the mother who is secret of God.
 The saints of church of God are elohists who preach about the God the Father and God the Mother.

 Even though Many christians believe in God, they can't give a definition of what God is.
 When they think of God, They only understand God as merciful God and the God of peace.

 We should give an exact and right definition of God from reality.

God says to us, “let us press on to know God” through the prophet hosea.

Then, how can we know God? The apostle paul testifies this as follows:

Rome1:20 [For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse]

God created all things by God's noble will so that we may learn the rationality and feel his love and his breath through all things.

God didn't create nature and all life to let us lead our life but created it to let us understand God.
For example, just as we can understand will of artist through his picture, so we can guess the will of God through all things that has been made by God's abstruse will.

In other words, for God made us known God through all things. we can't make excuses when we are infront of God.

All creatures that God created has mother. and we who was created in the image of God has two images; male and female.
We can understad through this that if there is only God the father, only man should exist. Then, how do you explain about the process of being created of woman? It is possible because heavenly mother exists.

That's why Adam and Eve who were created in the image of God appear in the history of genesis. First of all, we should know the reason why God craeted Adam and Eve.

New testament explains about Adam.

Rom5:14 [Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come]

Because bible testifies to Adam as one to come, it is a prophecy of second coming christ. if Adam represents second coming christ, it will be more clear when we understand prophetical purpose of Adam.

1Corinthians[5:45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. ]

As the last Adam is the prophetical figure who has an authority to give life to the others, he is cotrary to the first Adam who shift the original sin on to us. In other words, the last Adam represent second coming christ who will redeem all mankind.

Even though many christian know the first Adam, they react unfamilar to the last Adam. However, we should watch the fact that there is the last Adam in the bible. just as there was the first Eve with Adam, so there must be the last Eve with the second coming chirist, the last Adam. let's confirm this through book of revelation.

Rev22:17 [The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. ]

 Spirit and bride to come in the last days are giving us water of life. but giving this is not for anyone.

Reading the bible, only God can give us water life (Jer 2:13, Jhn4:13).
so, the bible testifies that sprit and the bride are God who will give us water of life in the last days.
 After all, we can see that spirit and bride are God who give us eternal life.

 According to the trinity, spirit indicates God the father. then, who is the bride?

"Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.. (Rev21:9)
 In other words, for the lamb means Jesus, there is the wife of Jesus, heavenly mother with second coming christ (Jhn1:29 )

Rev19: 7 [...For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.]

In other words, Adam and Eve in the history of genesis represent sprit and the bride. and the sprit and the bride represent  God the father and God the mother to come in the last days.

 According to these words, church of God is a special and new church believes in God the father and God mother.  Heveanly mother just didn't appear at the time of jesus, God had already shown her through Adam and eve in Genesis.  We should know the reason why God who is omniscient and omnipotent call him father ,not creator. please receive God the father and God the mother through acknowledgment of God and be a sincere child of God who can be saved .

  A long time ago, a teacher and his students made a long journey in order to obtain enlightenment.

While walking along the road, they discussed about what the greatest love in the world is when they arrived a village, many human bones were found heaped up together.

A sudden accident or disaster had probably overtaken the whole village.

Looking at so many human bones laying twisted and tangled up together, the teacher seemed suddenly struck by a thought, and asked his students if they could find a woman's bone among those bone. It is students just looked at one another's faces, unable to select a woman's bone easily. Then the teacher picked up one of the bones, and did said it was the bone of a woman.

It is students asked how he could recognize a woman's bone so easily among those numerous bones.
The teacher explained the reason to them as follows:

"Think about a woman's life first when she is young, she is always treated as less than a man just because she is female. When she gets married and becomes pregnant, she provides all the nourishment in her body to her unborn baby.
When she gives birth to her child, she has to shed blood. Moreover, when she breast-feeds her baby, all the nutrients in her body are passed on to her child through her breast milk. Since she does so, how can the nutrients remain in her bones? Such a bitter and sacrificial life of a woman has made her bone light and dark like this."

Listening to the teacher, his students were all reminded of their mothers. 'Such is the life of a mother. She only gives her children everything, but there is nothing she can do for herself.'

As they realized this, they became solemn for a while. They were deeply moved to hear their teacher say that a mother gives her children everything-even the marrow of her bones in the process of being pregnant, giving birth to them and raising them. Thinking of their mothers, they all shed tears.

A mother is the one who gives unconditional love to her children.
She only gives her children everything she has.
Why is the life of every mother on this earth so devotional?
Why did God make a mother into such a sacrificial being?
I believe that God has put the spirit of love and sacrifice in the hearts of mothers on this earth because it is the spiritual nature of our Heavenly Mother....

Rev 13:1~2 And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming our of the sea. He had ten horns and seven head, with ten crowns on his horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority.

 This beast represents the Roman Catholic.

First, the ten horns imply that the Roman Catholic originated in Rome like the ten toes of the prophecy of Daniel.

Second, Lion stands for Babylon and its idolatry. The Roman Catholic has idolatrous doctrines of worshiping the Virgin Mary and the saints' remains. They insist that they never worship the Virgin Mary, but praying in her name is worshiping her, and everybody knows that they believes in Mary.

Third, Leopard stands for Greece and its philosophy. The Roman Catholic accepted philosophical theories. They don't obey God's words, instead, they just think by themselves and believe it like God's will.

Forth, Bear stands for Media and Persia and their cruelty. The Roman Catholic killed so many people cruelly and worshiped the sun-god as Persians had done.

Fifth, Dragon has given authority to the beast. The dragon is Satan and the Roman Catholic Church has received the authority from Satan.

 Rev 13:18 This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. his number is 666.


The Pope's tiara has Latin words on it, 'VICARIUS FILIIDEI'
It means "The Vicar of Son of God." Each Latin letter has its own number.

In total, it's 666.
 The Roman Catholic looks worshiping the God, but actually they are evil group who got the power from the Satan.

“The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly” (Isa 60:22).

The gospel of the new covenant, which was small at the beginning, is now flourishing throughout the world according to the prophecies of God, and the overseas members are continuously visiting Korea, the country of Mother. Just in time, a holy Zion, imbued with Father’s Holy Spirit, has been established at the place where an island named Nakseom was located before it was reclaimed from the sea—which is now Jung-gu in Incheon, the gateway to Korea. On April 17, the dedication service for the Nakseom Church in Incheon was held in the blessing of God on the Sabbath.

 Mother gave a prayer of thanks to Father for granting His children to greet the glorious day to hold the dedication service at the holy place where He had started to shine the light of salvation, and complimented the members who made great efforts for the gospel until the beautiful temple was completed.
Mother also reminded the members that the gospel work was rapidly being accomplished through the love and power of Father. She blessed the Incheon Nakseom Church to be filled with the workers of the new covenant who would display the glory of God throughout the world.

 General Pastor Joo-Cheol Kim expressed his overwhelming emotions for the dedication of the Nakseom Church, and asked the members to understand the purpose of Father’s coming to this earth and to participate in finding their lost heavenly family members with all their heart and strength. He said, “Miracles occur when we throw away our fear and boldly proclaim Elohim with strong and confident faith, like the forefathers of faith such as Jonah, Peter and Paul.” Saying that, he hoped that the Nakseom Church members would preach the gospel with pride, so that the work of salvation would make a leap forward from this very spot where the work of the new covenant had started.

The members from nearby Zions attended the dedication service, and the 42nd Overseas Visiting Group also joined the service together. They witnessed the fulfillment of God’s prophecies and shared the joy of dedication with one another. The Nakseom Church is equipped with a 2,000-seat main worship hall, a small worship hall, an interpretation room, and a reception room. It has been built on the solid foundation of prophecy and settled as the holy place of the gospel which will play a pivotal role in world mission.

In the Bible, God is referred to through plural terms instead of singular terms, and it is written that God has a male image and a female image . Therefore, God exists in the male image  and in the female image. Then, how do we call the male image of God? God the Father….therefore, how should we call the female image of God?  God the Mother.

All of this time, we’ve been calling God only Father, but our Mother Jerusalem has always been there, since the creation of the world, since the book of Genesis we can find the testimony about Her (Gen 1:26) but, because of the perfect plan of redemption of God and in order to fulfil prophecy, God the Mother has to appear in ther last days. She is the Holy City Jerusalem who comes from heaven to make Her dwelling with man (Rev. 21:4). What a blessing to be in Zion, what a blessing to have Jerusalem Mother, what a blessing to have the chance to hear God’s voice and to walk with Her.

Isn't it amazing? We borned  in this world at the same time that our Mother Jerusalem came to this earth in the flesh according through prophecy. If we think about John or Peter who had the blessing to walk with Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago, our blessing is much greater  because we can walk with God Almighty in the flesh.

We need our Mother Jerusalem, She was revealed to us by Christ Ahn Sahng Hong, who is the Second Coming Jesus. Let us believe in Christ Ahn Sahng Hong, the Holy Spirit, and in Jerusalem Mother, the Bride, so we can receive eternal life.

World Mission Society Church of God- In this age, only God the Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother (Heavenly Mother) can give us salvation.

The Sabbath Was Changed to Sunday
After the apostles died, Christianity spread to western regions, including Rome. The gospel was preached to sun-god worshipers, and in the early 4th century, even the Roman emperor had heard the message of Christ. The emperor happened to be a leader of the sun-god worshipers, and when he converted to Christianity, many sun-god worshipers began to attend Church. As time passed, the faith of the Christians weakened, and they began to accept the customs of the sun-god worshipers. During this turn-over, they even began to rest and to worship on the first day of the week [Sunday]. In A.D. 321, Constantine, a Roman emperor, decreed an edict:

"All judges, city-people and craftsmen shall rest on the venerable day of the Sun."

Some argue that the abolishment of the Sabbath compelled many people to convert to Christianity, but we must not forget that altering God's commandments was Satan's scheme. Satan, the devil, opposes God and has historically harassed God's people, using various methods.

He tried to destroy the Church of God through severe persecution. But, taking a close look at history, the more that God's people were persecuted, the more that they depended on God. When Satan changed his methods of persecution, however, and praised the Church, he tempted the Christians to combine their faiths together. They were given back the properties that had been taken from them, ministers were exempted from military service, and the Church was even given the right to emancipate slaves. Through all of these outwardly positive changes to the Church, the Christians unwittingly fell into Satan's schemes and knelt down before him. They turned their backs away from God, like an ignorant bear who doesn't realize that his gallbladder is going to be stolen, only focusing on the sweet candy he is being tempted with.

God clearly said that only he who does the will of God can enter the kingdom of heaven (Matt. 7:21-23). Which day should we worship God to please Him, Sunday which most people keep, or the Sabbath, Saturday, which God commanded His people to keep? It is unnecessary to reveal the answer, because the Sabbath day is clearly Saturday.

The Church of God Established by God
The Church of God, established by God, does not follow man-made rules, only God's laws. They recognize that no one is able to give salvation except God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Jesus already revealed that those who follow the laws of men cannot be saved.

Mark 7:6-9 『He [Jesus] replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: "'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.' You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men." And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!"』

The Church of God was established on the foundation of the apostles who followed the teachings of Jesus Christ, and it has not changed since its inception. The true Church follows the laws which Jesus and the apostles observed.

No matter how many members a church has, if the church has different doctrines than those of Jesus Christ, it could not have originated from Jesus. We keep the Sabbath day?the memorial day of the Creator?not observing the law of the Old Testament, but following the law of the new covenant which Jesus and the apostles obeyed.

The saints, who will be saved on the last day, the day of God's judgment, are those who follow in Jesus' footsteps. The Sabbath day, one of Christ's footmarks, is a very precious commandment of God.

God’s children value the laws of God. Let us introduce the truths of the new covenant of the early Church, which were restored by the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong.
 The Church of God, that has received the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong, keeps the Sabbath on Saturday, according to the Bible. The seventh-day Sabbath is the day on which God rested from creating the heavens and the earth. Most Christians are mistaken as to what day the seventh-day Sabbath is, believing it to be Sunday, even though the Bible testifies that the Sabbath is Saturday. And they do not keep the Sabbath day, being bound to their customs, even though they realize that the Sabbath is actually Saturday.

The Bible warns us not to add or subtract even the smallest letter from the Bible.

Rev. 22:18-19 『I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.』

The Day to Commemorate God the Creator
The Sabbath day is "a memorial day honoring the Creator, who made the heavens and the earth," and is also "a day of rest." God created the heavens and the earth in six days and then rested on the seventh day from all of His work, even blessing this day.

Gen. 2:1-3 『Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.』

In the time of Moses, God commanded His people, in the fourth commandment of the Ten Commandments, to "remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy." God explained the purpose for keeping the Sabbath by saying, "In six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy" (Ex. 20:11). The seventh day was the day that God, the Creator, had blessed and it was the day that God's people were given to commemorate God's authority. God's people, who worshiped the Creator, kept the Sabbath day as their holy day. God gave His people the Sabbath as the sign by which God would recognize them as His people (Ezek. 20:11-17; Isa. 56:1-7).

The Sabbath day is to be a day of worshiping and of offering sacrifices to God, rather than simply a day of rest. God blessed those who kept the Sabbath day and brought great punishment and disaster upon those who did not keep the Sabbath day.

Jer. 17:24-27 『"But if you are careful to obey me, declares the LORD...keep the Sabbath day holy by not doing any work on it,...this city will be inhabited forever.... But if you do not obey me to keep the Sabbath day holy by not carrying any load as you come through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle an unquenchable fire in the gates of Jerusalem that will consume her fortresses."』

The Sabbath Day Is Saturday
Today, we refer to the days of the week as 'Sundaay, Monday, Tuesday,' and no longer 'the first day, the second day, the third day.' Our present-day system was developed in Rome where people decided to call the first day of the week 'Sunday,' the second day 'Monday,' the third day 'Tuesday,' and the seventh day 'Saturday.'
1) A calendar week has seven days; Sunday is the first day and Saturday is the seventh day.
2) Think about the word. "Weekend." Which day does the 'end' of the 'week' indicate?
3) Even in the dictionary, Sunday is defined as 'the first day of the week,' and Saturday as 'the seventh day of the week.'
4) The Bible also testifies that the seventh day, the Sabbath day, is Saturday.

Mark 16:9 (When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week...)

Jesus resurrected on the first day of the week. No one argues that Jesus resurrected on Sunday-the 'first day of the week'-which is why all Christians now celebrate Resurrection Day on Sunday. In the Good News Bible, this verse is written, 'After Jesus rose from death early on Sunday...'
Since the first day of the week is Sunday, what day is the seventh day? Through the Bible, we can confirm that the Sabbath day is Saturday.

Jesus and His Apostles Kept the Sabbath
The Old Testament is a shadow and a copy of the New Testament. Thus, the law of the Old Testament was a shadow of the good things that were to come in the New Testament times (Heb. 10:1). The Sabbath day in the Old Testament was called "the Sabbath of Jehovah" (Ex. 31:13; Ezek. 20:12), while the Sabbath day in the New Testament was called "the Sabbath of Jesus" (Matt. 12:8; Luke 6:5).
The Sabbath day, according to the Old Testament law, was only a copy; the Sabbath day of the new covenant, kept in Christ, is the reality. In the New Testament times, the apostles kept the Sabbath day by worshiping God in spirit and in truth, following Jesus Christ's example. Jesus kept the Sabbath as His custom.

Luke 4:16 『He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom....』

In the New Testament times, the Sabbath day is referred to as "Jesus' [the Lord's] day" because the true Lord of the Sabbath is Jesus Christ. "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath" (Matt. 12:8; Luke 6:5). The apostles kept the Sabbath day as the "Lord's [Jesus'] day."

Rev. 1:10 『On the Lord's Day I was in the Spirit...』

As the times of the Old Testament passed away and the New Testament times began, the way in which God's people were to keep the Sabbath day was changed; however, the day the Sabbath was to be commemorated was never changed. (In the Old Testament times, God's people offered burnt offerings and could not even kindle a fire in their houses, while in New Testament times, people worshipped God in spirit and in truth.) The day itself could not be changed because it was on the seventh day that God had rested from all of His creating work. The apostles kept the Sabbath day as their custom, reasoning from the Scriptures as follows:

Acts 17:2 『As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures...』

Acts 20:6-7 『But we sailed from Philippi after the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and five days later joined the others at Troas, where we stayed seven days. On the first day of the week we came together to break bread...』

As it is written in the above verses, the apostles kept the Sabbath day.
It is proven throughout the Scriptures that the Sabbath day?the seventh day, Saturday, Jesus' day?was kept until the apostolic age. So why do so many present-day Christians hold services on Sunday [the first day] and not on the Sabbath day? According to history, Sunday service originated from pagan sun-god worship. The Romans had been worshiping the sun god on the first day [Sunday], recognizing it as "the day of the sun," even before the birth of Jesus.

The Explanations About Melchizedek

Apostle Paul said that it was hard for him to explain about Melchizedek. We can find the reason why in the verse below.

Heb 7:1-4 『This Melchizedek...Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever.』

1) "Without father or mother" The Bible acknowledges only those who believe in God as the father or the mother of a man (Matt. 12: 50). Thus, the words, "(Melchizedek is) without father or mother," mean that the spiritual Melchizedek was to be born among unbelievers. As you know, however, Jesus was born of believers: Joseph and Mary.

2) "Without genealogy" In the Bible, "genealogy" refers to the twelve tribes of Israel. The words, "(Melchizedek is) without genealogy," mean that the spiritual Melchizedek would be born among the Gentiles; however, Jesus was born of the tribe of Judah (Matt. 1:1).

These were the characteristics of Melchizedek that Apostle Paul felt were too hard to explain.

The Second Coming Jesus, Ahnsahnghong, in the Order of Melchizedek

In order to fulfill the prophecies of Melchizedek, Jesus is to come a second time. The Bible says that Jesus will come a second time.

Heb. 9:28 『...he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.』

The Second Coming Jesus will fulfill the prophecies of Melchizedek.

1) He will bless us with eternal life through the Passover bread and wine.

2) He will be born among unbelievers ("without father or mother").

3) He will be born of Gentiles ("without genealogy").

4) He is God ("without beginning of days or end of life").

Christ Ahnsahnghong is the one who fulfilled all of these prophecies. How can we not believe in Him when all of the prophecies about the Second Coming Jesus testify that Ahnsahnghong is the Christ? The members of the Church of God believe that Ahnsahnghong is the Second Coming Christ?our Savior, who came in the order of Melchizedek?because the words of God testify about Him.

Isa. 25:6 『On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine?the best of meats and the finest of wines ...he will swallow up death forever...In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us."』

Before the day of judgment comes, please accept Ahnsahnghong, the Second Coming Christ, who fulfilled the prophecies of Melchizedek. Christ Ahnsahnghong blessed us with eternal life through the bread and wine of the Passover. Therefore, He is our Savior.

Even if a man performs a great miracle or wonder, if he has not come in the order of Melchizedek, he cannot be the Second Coming Christ. Thus, although a man may be humble in appearance, if he follows in the order of Melchizedek, he is the Second Coming Christ.

Please recognize the Second Coming Christ through the words of the Bible so that you may receive salvation. The one who follows in the order of Melchizedek is the true God, our Savior.

Through the prophecy of the Bible, let’s confirm that Christ Ahnsahnghong, who came as the Savior in the age of the Holy Spirit, is truly the Second Coming Christ.

 The Bible is a book of prophecy, testifying about Christ. Among the many prophecies about Christ, let’s recognize the Second Coming Christ, Ahnsahnghong, through the character Melchizedek. The order of Melchizedek reveals that Ahnsahnghong is God. We sincerely hope that you will understand the Christ, who has been hidden for ages, so that you may receive salvation.

In B.C. 1920, Melchizedek, king of Salem, was the only priest who blessed Abraham through bread and wine; he had no father, or mother, or genealogy. The Bible prophesies that the Second Coming Christ will follow in the order of Melchizedek. We must recognize the true Christ, who follows in the order of Melchizedek, from the many men who claim that they are the Second Coming Christ.

Throughout the world, only Christ Ahnsahnghong has followed in the order of Melchizedek. Therefore, the members of the Church of God receive Him as their God.

Then, what is the order of Melchizedek?

Is Ahnsahnghong?whom the members of the Church of God believe in?really the Second Coming Christ, who came in the order of Melchizedek?

The Origin of Melchizedek
Heb. 5:11 『We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn.』

Why was it hard for Apostle Paul to explain about Melchizedek, even though he had much to say about him? First of all, let’s study the origin of Melchizedek.

Gen. 14: 18-20 『Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram, saying...Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.』

Melchizedek, king of Salem, received Abraham who was returning from defeating the enemies. Melchizedek blessed Abraham through bread and wine, and then, Abraham gave him a tenth of everything.

When we study the Bible, we must keep in mind that the Old Testament is a copy and a shadow of the New Testament. Melchizedek, mentioned in the book of Genesis, also served as the shadow of a reality which was to come.

Jesus Came in the Order of Melchizedek
Let’s find out, through the Bible, who the reality of Melchizedek is.

Matt. 26:28 『While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."』

In the Old Testament, the physical Melchizedek blessed Abraham through bread and wine, and in the New Testament, Jesus?the spiritual Melchizedek?blessed His people with eternal life through the Passover bread and wine. Therefore, we can understand that the character Melchizedek represents Jesus.

Heb. 5:8-10 『Although he was a son, he...was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.』

This verse makes it clear that Jesus is the spiritual Melchizedek.
