In Daniel chapter 2 and 7, the history of Europe is prophesied. God told us this to reveal demon's identity. From now on, let's study about the devil's true color.
Chapter 2 is about the king's dream.
Dan 2:1~3 During the second year that Nebuchadnezzar was king, he had such horrible nightmares that he could not sleep. So he called in his counselors, advisors, magicians, and wise men, and said, "I am disturbed by a dream that I don't understand, and I want you to explain it."
The king tried to learn about the dream through the magicians and sorcerers, but they couldn't tell it to the king. Then Daniel told about the dream thanks to God.

Dan 2:27~30 Daniel answered: Your Majesty, not even the smartest person in all the world can do what you are demanding. But the God who rules from heaven can explain mysteries. And while you were sleeping, he showed you what will happen in the future. However, you must realize that these mysteries weren't explained to me because I am smarter than everyone else. Instead, it was done so that you would understand what you have seen.
Dan 2:31~33 Your Majesty, what you saw standing in front of you was a huge and terrifying statue, shining brightly. Its head was made of gold, its chest and arms were silver, and from its waist down to its knees, it was bronze. From there to its ankles it was iron, and its feet were a mixture of iron and clay.
It was about a large statue.
Dan 2:36~38 That was the dream, and now I'll tell you what it means. Your Majesty, you are the greatest of kings, and God has highly honored you with power over all humans, animals, and birds. You are the head of gold.
First, the golden head is represent not the person, the king, but his country, Babylon. So the bible says next is not a king but a country.
Dan 2:39~40 After you are gone, another kingdom will rule, but it won't be as strong. Then it will be followed by a kingdom of bronze that will rule the whole world. Next, a kingdom of iron will come to power, crushing and shattering everything. g)

The 4 kinds of each metal means the coming countries. Babylon, the silver Media & Persia, the bronze Greece, the iron Rome.
As silver is stronger than gold, and bronze is stronger and silver, and iron is stronger than bronze, the latter countries would be stronger and stronger than former ones.
The strongest country is Rome. But it's not eternal one. The bible says the country would be devided into 10 like 10 toes.

Dan 2:41 This fourth kingdom will be divided
The names of the 10 countries are .....
And later they would never be one like iron and clay.
Dan 2:41~43 This fourth kingdom will be divided--it will be both strong and brittle, just as you saw that the feet and toes were a mixture of iron and clay. This kingdom will be the result of a marriage between kingdoms, but it will crumble, just as iron and clay don't stick together.
Like this, the history isn't any accident. It is being completed by God.

In Daniel's prophecy is God's will about our salvation, the reality of Satan, and the world history. So Daniel's prophecy is what we must know and study. But many churches try to hide it and lots of Christians don't know it. It is so sad!
